DESCRIPTION:Join us for the longest running parade in Louisiana.  The 4th of July Parade will kick off the 12th Annual Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival with floats\, marching bands\, festival queens\, and plenty of patriotic participants ready to celebrate this years 4th of July.  \n\nIf you are interested in participating\, please register today.\n\nIF REGISTERING ONLINE\, PLEASE PUT DESCRIPTION OF PARTICIPATION IN COMMENTS SECTION OF REGISTRATION.\n\nExample: Float\, Vehicle\, Band/Marching Group\, Bicycle/Wagon\, Dance/Cheer\, ATV\n\n\n\nIf you are dancing or Marching\, please keep up with the flow of the parade as we are only allowed to shut the highway down for an alotted time. LOCATION:Line up will begin at 8:30AM at the Taco Bell parking lot. The parade will proceed down Highway 1 and turn onto Slim Lemoine Rd. The floats will be parked in the gravel lot. Floats can stay overnight if need be.
